My name is Deija. I'm a Midwest born, puppy obsessed, girly girl. 

I eat peanut butter every single day, my favorite color changes by the week,  my truest passion is education, and my dimples are a part of my personality.

For the past few months I’ve been following numerous blogs – fashion, beauty, lifestyle – and I decided to give it a try and create my own. It seems fun to be able to use a creative outlet to share any knowledge I’ve gained regarding any and every topic. In addition to having an outlet, it seems amazing that I can create an online community with others who share the same interests as my own. So, here is my lifestyle blog. I’ll be making posts about anything I find interesting, helpful, or beautiful.

Where did the name Lipstick and Laughter come from? Well, since this is my lifestyle blog, I wanted to choose a name that embodies me. I wear lipstick at any time that I can, just because I love it, it’s fun, and it completes any outfit. And I am always laughing – at everything. E V E R Y T H I N G. My grandma has always scolded me for “giggling” or making jokes at inappropriate times.
